Direction of use: sub lingual
Dosage: Oral 25 to 250 mcg per day, sub lingual (as directed by physician)
Precautions: Drug is taken under care of pharmacist when patient have eye disease (Lebers optic neuropathy), a certain blood disorder (polycythemia vera), gout, iron or folic acid deficiency anemia, low potassium blood levels (hypokalemia). Cyanocobalamin is safe to use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, when taken in recommended doses higher, doses may cause risks health hazards.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity of vitamin B12
Side Effects: Oral vitamin B12 supplements are not generally associated with any side effects.
